LSD inventor Albert Hofmann dies at 102
full story at the BBC
RIP.
It’s humbling to think of how a single experiment could completely alter our perception of human consciousness and our experience of the universe. Hofmann’s contribution to the world has changed the shape of chemistry, psychology, art, music and spirituality forever. It’s also sad to think of how many people will never fully appreciate his work.
Godspeed.

Should LSD be required experiencing for all mankind?

Depends on what you mean by ‘required’. obviously not everyone should trip out, but it should be an accepted part of our culture and more openly integrated into psychological studies, education and some forms of recreation and art.

A bird’s droppings fallin’ on your crotch as you sun-bath.

Wtf? Yes, Hofmann’s death will be hard to take, but I’ve never heard a bird shit metaphor used in states of grief. Bravo my friend.

Hey Damien and readers,
Thanks for the news. And I completely agree with you: drugs can open our minds and lend us perspectives otherwise hidden deeply in our subconscious.
Of course, like everything in life the things that give us the greatest benefits usually carry with them the same level of risk.
But what would life be without risk?
Good Bye, Albert. Thank you for your contribution.
